I'm teaching and tutoring mainly in Maths and Physics now for over 10 years. I'm very experienced in teaching these subjects in both languages, German and English, as I have done this during my time in Germany as well as my time in Auckland (2005-2008). In this period, I also taught German as a foreign language.
To be specific, I was a tutor at the Physics department of the university of Auckland and at the university of Heidelberg, Germany (certificated tutor).
Besides this, I worked at two different approved high-school-tutoring schools in Germany (i.e. they passed the German WOF for tutoring schools).
During my PhD in Germany, I taught Physics and Maths in German and English at high school and university level. Now, after finishing my PhD 2 weeks ago, I will return to Auckland at the beginning of March.
The personal tutoring is of high importance to me, as, most of the time, there are only small (and easy to eliminate) issues why the students stop listening and understanding. For a successful tutor, it is essential to identify these individual issues. This importance of individual care is the reason why I don't accept classes for private tutoring with more than 8 students.
