I am a current History Teacher with 8 years experience, including time as a Head of Department at a top Auckland Girls Private School. I mark NCEA examinations almost every year. I have been on the Auckland History Teachers Committee for 3 years and am the author of a Year 13 (Tudors) textbook.
My specialty areas include Origins of WW2, Black Civil Rights, Ireland, Weimar & Nazi Germany and Tudor-Stuart England. I can also teach Maori-Pakeha Relations, Israel-Palestine, South Africa, Vietnam, Origins of WW1 and NZ in the C20th Century.
I can teach you content that you need, give you practice essays/perspectives etc or give you exemplars/essay plans etc. I can also assist your understanding of source interpretation or direct you to useful websites/films to extend your understanding.
I am happy to work on an email only basis giving feedback on essays or assessments etc if that is what you would require - this would involve a price per essay or something similar. I am negotiable on this.
