Tutor Profile

Kia Ora! My name is Advait (Adi), and I am a medical student at the University of Auckland. I'm very passionate about education as both a lifelong learner, and as a teacher. I have taught a huge variety of subjects, including but not limited to, chemistry, biology, physics, calculus, English, and general mathematics across my vast tutoring experience of 5 years.

I love to get to know my students learning styles and cater their courses to best suit their goals, helping them to achieve a deeper understanding of their subjects rather than surface level repetition.

In my free time, I love to play guitar, listen to all genres of music, cook, and get outdoors and play sports. I am super passionate about medicine and the human body and would love to work in Anaesthesia in the future

I secured an excellence endorsement for individual subjects as well as levels 1-3 in NCEA whilst multi-leveling. I hold a 9.0 GPA across multiple subjects at University Level and am working towards a degree as a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Surgery.

Alongside my main tutoring subjects, I am happy to tutor in NCEA English, Calculus, and Physics as well as tutoring for students studying premed courses at the University of Auckland including Biosci107, Chem110, and Medsci142, along with tutoring for the UCAT and Multiple Mini interviews

I have 5 years of tutoring experience across multiple subjects and styles of teaching. I have taught NCEA level 1, 2 and 3 for subjects including, Biology, Physics, and Calculus however my specialty in teaching lies in Chemistry. General Mathematics and English. I have tutored both privately and working under various companies, with references available upon request.

I can cater my tutoring style based on how a student learns best, and I am happy to meet in person for an added travel cost, or tutor online.
