My goal as a tutor is to support my pupils in achieving their unique academic objectives.
I am aware that every student is learning at a different pace and has various needs for their sessions and I will adapt to this. In order to stimulate learning in a way that their usual school sessions might not be, I aim to run my tutorials in a way that doesn't feel like another academic lesson but rather in a way that is comfortable and fun for the student.

I am a qualified teacher who has done mentoring one-on-one mentoring. I have also taught primary-aged students up to year 8.
I focus on connecting to my student's needs and apply my lessons to support what they need. I take particular pride in providing each student with the individualized teaching they require in order for them to succeed.
My kids make rapid growth and receive outstanding grades.
I am highly skilled at determining my kids' educational needs. I can instruct pupils in the clear and concise writing and speaking standards used in New Zealand. I have studied German from year 7 up to tertiary.

Hey, I'm Clare, I'm originally from the UK and have lived in NZ for over 12 years. I enjoy connecting with other people and learning about what interests my students so that I can meet their learning needs and teach in the most engaging way. I am a lover of learning and I hope to inspire others to enjoy learning too. My interests involve bookbinding, art, forest walks, philosophy, and bullet journaling.
