I love seeing children thrive as they develop new skills, grow in knowledge and discover what they are capable of. Every child is different, and I enjoy finding ways to make learning engaging and meaningful. I want children to feel supported when something is difficult, proud of their progress and excited about what they can achieve. One of the most rewarding parts of teaching is seeing a child's confidence grow as they realise, “I can do this.”

Experiences
I have a Bachelor of Teaching and Learning (Primary) from the University of Canterbury and three years' experience teaching in New Zealand primary schools. I am also a former Ministry of Education Tutor teacher. I have experience working with children across the primary age range and adapting learning to individual needs. My teaching focuses on building strong foundations, developing confidence and providing appropriate challenge and extension. I now offer personalised online tutoring for children aged 5–12 throughout New Zealand.
