Hi, I’m James! I’m a native English & French speaker with an international accent, and I’ve also learned Korean and Arabic myself — so I know how frustrating it is to understand a language better than you can speak it.
I help students who already know the basics break through the “stuck” stage, so you can speak English clearly and confidently in real-world situations.
My approach is simple:

2️⃣ Give a clear, structured plan to fix it
In our trial lesson, I’ll identify the 2–3 key changes that will move you forward fastest. In regular lessons, we’ll practise real-life situations — meetings, calls, presentations, interviews, or everyday conversation — and I’ll provide a targeted self-study routine to keep you improving.

About
I am a passionate language learner myself, having studied Korean and more recently started Arabic. Because of this, I understand the challenges of the language-learning process and can support students using methods I have personally tested and found effective. Outside of teaching, I enjoy learning about different cultures, improving my own languages, and exploring New Zealand.
