Tutor Profile

Hi there I'm Jonathan! I am delighted to have you visit my page. I offer online tuition for academic English, specifically the NCEA and IB curriculum. Although, I am happy to help in ay other I am currently a Law student at the University of Auckland.

I myself undertook the International Baccalaureate (IB) examinations in November 2022 and achieved a level 7 (out of 7) in High Level English Language and Literature.

I understand that NCEA and IB can be quite exhausting and arduous at times. Therefore, I am dedicated to supporting my students and teaching them how to achieve those high grades!

I have completed the International Baccalaureate diploma, achieving a 7/7 in high level Language and Literature. I am currently studying Law at the University of Auckland

I have been teaching NCEA/IB English for the last 3 years. I am dedicated to helping my students achieve the grades they deserve. I help my students by not only reinforcing material taught within the classroom, but also offering extra content to expand their knowledge. This helps my students become high achievers as they have a deeper understanding of different theories, critical lenses and references to draw upon when writing their essays and exams.

I also tutor the violin at the Glenfield Music Centre. I love playing music and I am learning the Erhu. I like reading in my spare time, I am currently on the second Game of Thrones book and trying to finish the whole series.
