Kiyo has been teaching my son Japanese for his Year 11 NCEA Level 1 year. What makes this remarkable is that he didn't take Japanese in Years 9 or 10. This is his first year learning it, and jumping straight into NCEA meant a lot of catching up. Kiyo's deep knowledge of the NCEA course has been exactly what he needed.
