Hi, my name is Lara and I am an Australian, long term resident of Queenstown. I love reading, painting, paddleboarding and exploring our beautiful country. I love teaching and mentoring and have a strong passion for literature, history and the arts.
I'm a strong believer in life long learning and finding new ways to approach a subject. Every person learns in different ways and from my previous experience as a teacher I understand that in the classroom it’s not always easy to feel your teacher has the time to provide individual support or maybe their teaching style isn’t working for you. I’m here to listen to your needs and work with you to make learning interesting again and carve your own understanding.
I offer a supportive, no stress environment that will help you develop your skills and knowledge. Whether its understanding a novel in English, History, writing essays, building confidence in drama or public speaking, or learning the foundations of reading and writing, I am here to guide you in a positive and meaningful way so that you can feel confident and excited about learning.
