Experiences
I have more than 25 years of experience in human resources, organisational development and management across both private and public organisations. This background, along with many years of training people in workplaces, helps me teach English in a practical way that supports clear communication with managers, colleagues and teams.
Because I have worked in over 20 countries, I understand different cultures and language levels, and students usually feel comfortable with me very quickly. I also help people with New Zealand visa and citizenship applications, and I provide support for IELTS preparation.

I enjoy hiking local trails, cycling, gardening, and I’ll always choose a good book over television. I’m an enthusiastic follower of international cycling competitions, and I also work as a freelance book and manuscript editor for independent authors preparing their work for publication.
In my spare time, I love building LEGO — especially my growing collection of Star Wars sets and custom MOCs — and I collect Hot Wheels die‑cast model cars.
