I have a deep understanding and personal experience with Deaf culture.
I always pay attention every each person ensure correct sign language and clarity.
My passion is to teach hearing and Deaf people to improve our NZSL communication easier and enjoy conversation together.
Qualifications
Deaf studies at Victoria University
I graduated Deaf studies at Victoria University. I'm an NZSL tutor to teach New Zealand Sign Language to hearing people.
Experiences
I started my first barista management job at Fairfax Media Stuff, I enjoyed working to serve coffee to customers and teach basic NZSL which was great. After 4 years working at Fairfax Media Stuff, I started studying Deaf Studies at Victoria University in Wellington. I also started working as an NZSL tutor at Ko Taku Reo. I taught various students from primary and adult. I teach every class daily, one to one or in a group and face to face also online classes. After 2 years working at Ko Taku Reo, I decided to move on and open my business so I can teach NZSL to many others who wish to communicate using NZSL.

One of my hobbies is teaching New Zealand Sign Language (NZSL).
I’m passionate about promoting Deaf awareness and encouraging more people to learn sign language.
Teaching NZSL allows me to share my knowledge, connect with others, and support better communication between Deaf and hearing people.
