Hi! I'm a Psychology graduate with a Bachelor of Social Sciences, majoring in Psychology and minoring in Chinese. I'm currently studying for the GAMSAT with the goal of pursuing a career in medicine.
I offer friendly, personalised tutoring in maths, English, homework support, and study skills for primary, intermediate, and high school students. My approach is centred on building confidence and helping students genuinely understand concepts, rather than simply memorising them.
Every student learns differently, so I tailor my lessons to suit each individual's pace, strengths, and learning style. I have experience working with neurodivergent learners, including students with ADHD and autism, and I strive to create a supportive, encouraging environment where students feel comfortable asking questions and making mistakes.
Whether your child needs help catching up, preparing for assessments, or building confidence in the classroom, I'd love to help them achieve their goals.

Experiences
I have experience teaching undergraduate psychology students as a Psychology Lab Instructor at the University of Waikato, where I facilitated first, second, and third-year laboratory classes and supported students in understanding complex concepts.
In addition, I have worked as a Mental Health and Disability Support Worker, supporting children and young people with a wide range of learning styles and abilities. About
Outside of tutoring, I'm currently studying for the GAMSAT with the goal of pursuing a career in medicine. I enjoy learning and love helping others build their confidence and achieve their goals.
I have a keen interest in psychology, neuroscience, and education, and I'm passionate about understanding how different people learn. In my free time, I enjoy reading, spending time with family and friends, exploring cafés, staying active, and spending time with animals. I also enjoy creating engaging learning resources and finding new ways to make challenging concepts easier to understand.
I believe learning should be encouraging, enjoyable, and tailored to each individual. Whether a student needs help catching up or wants to get ahead, I aim to create a positive environment where they feel comfortable asking questions and growing in confidence.
