I specialise in Physics and Mathematics from Year 11 through to undergraduate level, including NCEA Levels 1–3, Cambridge International (AS & A-Level), and IB. I also support preparation for university entrance requirements and competitive applications. Alongside subject tutoring, I help students with revision planning, study techniques, and developing scientific thinking beyond the classroom.
Qualifications
I hold a BSc in Physics from Aristotle University of Thessaloniki, an MSc in Nuclear & Particle Physics from University of Athens, and a PhD in High-Energy Physics from University College London. My doctoral research, supported by the Onassis Foundation and the Science and Technology Facilities Council, focused on the ATLAS experiment at CERN, where I contributed to the discovery and analysis of the Higgs boson. I also obtained Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) early in my teaching career, combining academic research excellence with over 30 years of educational experience.
Experiences
I am an experienced Physics and Mathematics tutor with over 30 years of teaching, mentoring, and academic research experience. I hold a PhD in High-Energy Physics from University College London and have worked on the ATLAS experiment at CERN, contributing to research surrounding the Higgs boson. Alongside my academic career, I have successfully helped students achieve top grades in GCSE, A-Level, IB, and university entrance examinations, with many progressing to leading universities including Oxford, Cambridge, Imperial, and UCL.
